Zaphu Forum: The Net’s Affinity for Ron Paul Explained! [Opinion]

  • Maggie · 2 years ago
Ron Paul has surpassed the internet thanks to his admirers who have now taken to the streets to inform the average Joe.

Every position he has on the war, taxes, securing our borders are major concerns to the majority of our citizens. The main stream media are terrified of this true patriot and so are all candidates left and right.
Even though I am an atheist and pro-choice, I will still vote for Cong. Ron Paul all the way to the White House.

Another interesting point not brought up in this article is the fact that when most Americans wish to investigate their presidential possibilities, they go to the internet to get their information.

Other then this method, there is no method of truly evaluating a presidential hopefuls stance on issues. Sure, you could watch the MSM, but they hardly talk serious politics, but rather push agendas. (This is clear by the way Paul's 'radical' message of down-sizing the governemnt is hardly spoken of, especially not in detail.)

So, it is safe to say, the well informed American that was passionate enough to do some research, has cast their vote!

    RON PAUL 2008!!!!!

@Maggie, @JT - Thanks for the comments. I was excited to see my post was dugg. But, a group of Paul Haters managed to get the story buried just as it was taking off. I suppose there isn't such a thing as true free speech even on digg.com. If enough people don't like what you are saying they can silence you. Go on fighting the good fight. I will write more posts dealing with freedom and liberty so visit again or subscribe to our RSS feed. - Sam

@Maggie: What? No, it's just that Ron Paul isn't black or a woman, so there's nothing the media could possibly talk about concerning Ron Paul. The only threat to the media Ron Paul is is selling less papers in the short run because the general public sees no interest in him, and Paul can't market himself to the public. Which is unfortunate, because he rules. Let's hope for another Colbert bump. A better one, too--that episode with him was kinda lame admittedly. Didn't highlight his awesomeness.

I'm pro-life, straight, unmarried, come from a long-line of Republican voters, and voted for Bush both times. Barring any major developments I will be voting for Ron Paul, because I'm not ashamed to correct my thinking when I'm clearly headed in the wrong direction. Fear change for change's sake, but don't fear change when it actually makes sense, even if yoou abandon saving face.
