Can you please explain in depth how to ssh people from your computer? Can it only be done between 2 Macs, not between Mac & Windows? What is the command to ssh? Is it ssh user@ipaddress? Also, what does smbclient -m do?

Hi, A freind of mine panic daily because he thinks hackers are after him. He is 32 and his father runs a mutli million dollar business. He is currently dating a girl that he has done back ground checks on her because he thinks she is after his money. He truly thinks that hackers are getting into his phone and eleting out his emails and programs. the fact of the matter is that he goes onto every single flagged website and subscribes to anything that pops up on the screen causing all his computers with crazy pop ups and potential virus. He live in another state and I an looking for a prank to get him trough email. Again he is using MAC i have windows. He visits my office bi-weekly. Is there anything I can remotely send him or any file avaiable that when he opens it he gets a really crazy looking fake virus pop up or something of the sort. Please advise I am open to any suggestions you may have.

Hey Guys, loving the pranks! Found another one that makes your screen look like it's broken?! Wicked for laptops, set it goin and close your mates laptop.. They've got most of the others on here too but the broken screen one is good.

I conceived this original April fools prank a couple months ago, and I've been itching to pull it on a buddy of mine. Finally got my chance today.

Change the keyboard to Dvorak via System Preferences > Input Menu. Check Dvorak and uncheck US from the list. Alternately, you can leave both checked, but US might have precedence, so you can opt to "Show input in menu bar" which allows you to make a quick change between the two. Then uncheck to hide it again, or leave showing if you want to provide a little hint, or if you think the user is unsuspecting.

I created a fancy riddle for mine, and I led up to it with some Confusious-like sayings about being lost in translation, references to the tower of babel, etc. It was a blast. I had my victim fooled for a while, until he found the riddle hiding under his keyboard. He was intelligent enough to solve it fairly quickly, although I spelled it out in this part of my riddle:

"Fear not, don't worry, you haven't been hacked.
To spell it out clearly: Tsfq.d nddl H.soavqh!"

If you type that in, with Dvorak active, it spells "You've been Dvorak'd!"

Hmm the last one opens up a terminal window on the remote machine with every command you've typed, which is weird but interesting. You could use this instead:
sudo osascript -e 'tell app "Finder" to sleep'
You can also do things like this to open a dialog box:
osascript -e 'tell application "Finder"' -e "activate" -e "display dialog \"Happy April Fools!\"" -e 'end tell'

This is a way you can put the computer to sleep:
sudo shutdown -s now

Hold shift and repeatedly press F11. It's annoying because you can;t stop it yourself you have to wait ages
