This Zecco thing seems pretty interesting- how do they get away with offering free trades? There are really no catches?

@Aftabulous - Internet placed trades are fast becoming a commodity. According to Zecco they estimate their costs at about $2/trade. They make their money primarily from interest on cash balances and margin accounts. Zecco's fee schedule can be found here. The free trades and no minimum balance for basic accounts is the real deal.

Nice website. I would also recommend www.bankrate.com to see if your mortgage or auto loan is competitive and the Fidelity Freedom funds for one-stop diversified mutual funds.
