I suggest you put Douglas Adams Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy on the list, though. Certainly a must-have for all... Yeah, well, all.

Re: 5 Must-Have Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Sets

Wow! That's impressive. Thanks for the info, I will definitely check them out. I don't think I'll be able to pull off the same feat you did though! But hey, when it comes to good reading, you have to make time. Got any more? I would love to put together a "reader's choice" list.

Re: 5 Must-Have Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Sets

Kylie Chan's Dark Heavens trilogy (and upcoming sequels) is an amazing Chinese mythology-based fantasy series. They don't look like quick reads (500+ pages each) but I managed to finish all 3 between Christmas and New Years.

Re: 5 Must-Have Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Sets

Good, I'm sure you will like it. Dune, though a great series, was not one I was allowed to read early on (don't ask my why, probably something to do with the Sand Worms?) and therefore I have not had a chance to finish it. Besides, when Patrick Stewart provides such an awesome performance, how can my imagination match that? I will consider it for the next list though, because after all, who can stop with 5 series in their library?

Re: 5 Must-Have Sci-Fi/Fantasy Book Sets

Nice list! I'm gonna check out the Ender Wiggin Saga. I'm surprised, however, that Dune didn't make it onto your list.
